What you probably want to know: Lori Walsh is a writer, journalist, poet, and teaching artist.
She is a member of the National Book Critics Circle and the Society for Children's Book Writers & Illustrators.
What you didn't know you wanted to know: Lori Walsh is a lover of all dogs, one tortoise, and various fish. (She has loved multitudes of cats as well. Alas, they make her sneeze.) If she did not live in a cozy house amongst heaps of children's books, she would attempt to take up residence at the library. They would probably let her.
*the right shift button is broken on her laptop, so she occasionally forgoes capital letters entirely. after several weeks, she has discovered that life is inherently gentler without capital letters.
